About the event

In our busy and often stressful lives, it is important to take time out for self-care. This day will be an immersive experience for women. A safe space to unwind, relax, reflect and to replenish. You will be met with a gentle and supportive invitation to explore the healing power of the voice through vocal toning, Mantra and chanting, breathwork, movement and Sound Healing. Creative activities will enhance the intention to balance the energy systems, leaving you feeling restored.

Please bring a sharing plate (vegetarian) an open mind and curiosity!

"I joined the Mantra Lounge sessions which were really uplifting and enjoyable and are so much more than just Mantras. We explored following our intuition and awareness, practicing self love, drumming and sound therapy to name just a few. Thank you Emily and Jane x" (Janet)

"The Mantra chanting has had a positive impact on the breathlessness that was the indicator for some of my health issues. I’m now trying to make a conscious effort to notice if I am shallow breathing & trying to make sure I exhale all the breath and if some anxiety does start to creep in then I know I now have tools so that it doesn’t take control.

The Mantras themselves have been beautiful. Having tried to listen to the Mantras on-line I’ve found some of the tunes quite shill and the speed at which they are sung almost unpleasant (it’s as if the person can’t wait to get through them). The tunes and timings used meant I could really hear the syllables and in the chanting I felt I was giving the mantras respect & devotion. I could feel the joy of them – not just mentally but chanting was a physical joy too. Additionally, it was almost as if each time we practised a Mantra it gave my brain the time and space to process worries and concerns that were in there. I’m quite a poor sleeper so there have been times when reciting a Mantra in my head has calmed by brain enough for me to sleep." (Laura)
